and FOR our humanity. If we apply this narrative to our approach to learning, school becomes a setting of empowerment in our own story. Education builds us up when it teaches us to build our lives & world.

When we learn to see ourselves as knowledge-building characters

in this great story of life, we can begin to harness our uniquely human power to build our world by first building our minds.
